Support That Makes Feeding Feel More Easeful

Lactation support with me is about more than fixing a latch — it’s about helping you feel calm, confident, and supported in a season that can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re newly postpartum, navigating feeding challenges, or trying to understand your baby’s cues, I bring gentle, empowering care directly to your home or to you virtually in Bellingham.

My approach looks at the whole picture — your baby’s tension patterns, feeding positions, your birth experience, your milk supply concerns, and the mental load you’re carrying. You’ll receive compassionate, evidence-informed guidance paired with practical, realistic tools you can use right away.

Through collaboration with local pediatric providers, birthworkers, and feeding specialists, you and your baby are supported by a connected village.

Wherever you are in your feeding journey, you deserve support that meets you physically, emotionally, and literally. Let’s help feeding feel calmer, more comfortable, and more connected.

Common Concerns We Support:

Every feeding journey is unique. Here are some of the most common challenges we help with—always with compassion, evidence-informed care, and zero judgment.

Before Your Visit:

A little preparation helps your appointment go smoothly:

  • Have your ID and any relevant health notes or imaging available.
  • Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Babies do best in simple onesies or zip-ups.
  • Choose a space where you can relax; a small area for the portable table is perfect.
  • Hydrate and have a light snack if needed—especially during pregnancy or postpartum.

Your only job is to be comfortable. I’ll take care of the rest.

During Your Visit

Your visit includes:

  • Duration of the appoint is about 45-60 minutes. (Depends of case)
  • A comprehensive health and movement assessment
  • Gentle, low-force adjustments (if appropriate)
  • Cranial or soft-tissue work when needed
  • Simple home recommendations
  • May be recommended for imaging

Techniques are always tailored to your comfort, your goals, and your season of life.

After Your Visit

It’s normal to experience:
  • Mild soreness or tenderness for 24–48 hours
  • A feeling of lightness, calm, or improved mobility
  • Better sleep or feeding changes in babies as tension releases

Post-visit tips:
  • Drink water
  • Move gently
  • Rest if your body asks for it

If anything feels off or you have questions, you can always reach out.

Your first chiropractic visit is designed to feel calm, supportive, and empowering. Whether we’re meeting in your home or virtually for intake, you’ll be guided through a clear, comfortable process that honors your body and your season of life.

***I do not accept car-accident or personal injury cases at this time.

Mobile chiropractic means your visit happens wherever you feel most comfortable: your living room, nursery, home office, or even a community space. I bring a professional portable table and everything needed to support you or your child.
No rushing. No traffic. No juggling diaper bags or car seats.

I am an out-of-network, private-pay practice. I do not bill insurance directly, but I’m happy to provide a superbill for potential reimbursement. Many families prefer the flexibility, longer visits, and individualized care this model provides.

Your first visit includes a full health history, movement + nervous system evaluation, and a hands-on session tailored specifically to your season—pregnancy, postpartum, feeding, infant care, or wellness.
Expect a calm, unhurried appointment where you’re seen as a whole person, not a quick adjustment.

Prenatal chiropractic is safe, gentle, and often incredibly relieving. I use pregnancy-specific techniques (including Webster-style pelvic balancing) that support alignment, reduce tension, and help your body adapt as baby grows.

Absolutely. Infant chiropractic uses light, specific touch—similar to checking the ripeness of an avocado. I commonly support feeding/latching challenges, torticollis, body tightness, digestive discomfort, and cranial molding after birth.
Babies should feel comfortable, relaxed, and supported during care.

Every body and every story is unique. Some clients prefer supportive monthly visits. Others—especially during pregnancy, postpartum healing, or infant feeding challenges—benefit from weekly or biweekly care.
We’ll create a care rhythm that fits your lifestyle, schedule, and goals.

My approach is gentle and nervous-system centered. For most moms, newborns, and children, I use low-force techniques, drop pieces, soft tissue work, craniosacral-style releases, and tonal adjustments.
If you prefer traditional manual adjustments, we can discuss what feels best for your body.

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in—leggings, joggers, or whatever makes you feel at ease. For babies, a simple onesie or zip-up outfit helps us assess and work with their body more easily.

I provide mobile chiropractic care across Bellingham, including Fairhaven, Barkley Village, Cordata, Meridian, Sudden Valley, Western Washington University area, and nearby surrounding neighborhoods.
If you’re outside this radius, message me—travel fees may apply.

Frequently Asked Questions

I’ll Let Other Mamas Do the Talking

Because feeling supported speaks for itself.

M.N

Dr. Nicole is the best! I love the convenience of having her come to me. She really gets to know your body and even works on your muscles before she does adjustments. I like that she is gentle and clearly has a lot of experience with kids. I have only done chiropractic with her so far so haven't experienced the lactation consultation services, but I'm sure she is wonderful at that as well. I would definitely recommend her!
