Please note: Every lactation consultation begins with a comprehensive feeding assessment so we can understand your concerns, evaluate feeding, and develop a personalized plan that supports both you and your baby.

CARE MAY INCLUDE:
  • Comprehensive Feeding Assessment: A thorough evaluation of your health history, your baby's feeding patterns, latch, positioning, milk transfer, pumping routine, and feeding goals.
  • Personalized Feeding Plan: Individualized recommendations designed to support breastfeeding, pumping, bottle feeding, combination feeding, or whatever feeding approach best fits your family's needs.
  • Hands-On Feeding Support: Guidance with latch, positioning, milk transfer, pumping techniques, bottle feeding, supplementation, and responsive feeding strategies to help make feeding more comfortable and effective.
  • Education & Ongoing Support: Evidence-informed education to help you navigate common feeding challenges, prepare for returning to work, understand normal infant feeding behaviors, and build confidence throughout your feeding journey.
